Since 2016, Black 35 Guitars has prided itself on creating unique, expressive, and inspiring instruments for players around the world. Every guitar we build is made by hand, and like any craft-driven company, our journey hasn’t always been perfect. Artistic risks were taken, lessons were learned, and along the way some instruments may not have been the perfect fit for every player.
What has never changed is our commitment to standing behind our work. Over the past decade, we’ve built a strong reputation for exceptional customer service and integrity. Black 35 Guitars has evolved, persevered, and refined our craft, with a clear focus on our proprietary designs—including the East Coaster, Asbury, and Mariner models.
We’ve intentionally moved away from recreating “big brand” styles. If you want a Gibson, buy a Gibson. If you want a Fender, buy a Fender—they make incredible guitars. But if you want a Black 35, you’re in the right place.
Introducing the Black 35 Buy Back Program
Our Buy Back Program is designed to give current and former Black 35 players the opportunity to trade in an older Black 35 guitar and receive a credit toward a new custom build.
How it works:
1) Contact us with photos and details of your Black 35 guitar
2) Our team will review the instrument and provide a trade-in credit value
3) That credit is applied directly toward your new Black 35 Guitar order, helping offset the cost of your build
What Happens to the Traded-In Guitars?
Our goal is to keep these instruments making music. Traded-in guitars may be:
– Refurbished and resold at a discounted price to players
– Refurbished and donated to local music schools, Boys & Girls Clubs, and other community organizations
Through this program, we aim not only to support our players but also to help promote music in the lives of children and adults alike.
